Here at Born Dared we understand that not everyone wants to get as big or as shredded as possible with veins popping out of every part of their body which is what a very large part of the fitness industry is promoting.
Some people just want an aesthetic, healthy physique that is easy & enjoyable to sustain, which is what we refer to as a true model’s physique.
Because a ‘model’ by definition is ‘an example to follow or imitate’.

LIES, MYTHS, MISCONCEPTIONS, MISLEADING INFORMATION & UNEDUCATED ADVICE...
Just like you have most likely been negatively affected by these, I have also had to face the above throughout my many years revolving around fitness.
Wrong advice from so said ‘professionals’ led me to over-training, having the wrong nutrition for my goals, not recovering properly and constantly picking up injuries, topped off by a career-ending one that put a stop to my football journey.
Transitioning to modelling, I have once again had to deal with the consequences of uneducated advice from apparent ‘fitness experts’ which left me battling with a severe eating disorder case & body dysmorphia as the advice that I was getting did not allow me to sustainably maintain the physique that I was required to have for my modelling while still enjoying my life.
I have come to learn the following:

Meet your coaches
Most of my clients come to me:
I have always took my health and fitness very seriously because I was raised to do so by a very health conscious family (who I later came to realise that were STILL misinformed and had wrong beliefs regarding the fitness & nutrition industry even though they genuinely cared about their health) as well as it always being part of my career, whether it be my career as a football player or as a model/actor.
I gave my life to training and in fact ended my football career because of pushing myself too much, coming back from injuries too soon, overtraining, training hard rather than smart (instead of both). I came to learn the depths of fitness and nutrition after my football career was over which is when I realised how much of a better approach I could've had to my football if only I was taught the right information by the so called teachers in school and coaches that I've had over the years... I came to realise that the majority of people working in sports, whether it be Sports teachers, coaches, nutritionists and even the majority of personal trainers are so wrong about so many things that they implement on the people that they teach.
Anyway, my point is that I lived and breathed fitness my whole life, picking up more and more knowledge along the years, always looking to get more and more educated and educate more and more people.
I've always loved training and due to being extremely competitive from a very young age, I can't say that I struggled with anything from a fitness point of view as I was always determined to achieve whatever I had in mind, so I can't say that I struggled to put on muscle or to be lean, whatever I wanted to do, I found a way to do it and got educated in the process. Of course, genetics do play a big part in everyone's appearance but it's not ALL down to genetics at all.
